What do I do if my rental car breaks down?

Generally, our suppliers provide 24 hour roadside assistance. If you check your rental agreement, you will see the phone number for roadside assistance. In some cases, you can purchase additional cover. When you arrive to pick up your rental car, it is always a good idea to ask the representative about their breakdown policy.

If your vehicle breaks down, contact the car rental company. You will find contact details listed on your rental agreement, with roadside assistance numbers.
The car rental company representative will guide you through the process, and arrange repairs, and a replacement vehicle if needed.
In some cases, things such as tyre damage are not included in the costs covered by the car rental company, unless the renter purchases additional protection products.
