Driving tips in Vancouver

Vancouver is a busy city, both urban and ethnically diverse. Be sure to plan your route in advance to avoid traffic and construction work. Take care when sharing the road with cyclists in the city. There is plenty of parking in the city, just be sure to pay at the meter.

Some traffic lights in Vancouver blink green, which indicates that the cross streets only have a stop sign. The lights will only turn red if a pedestrian needs to cross the road.
