Learn more about the city by visiting the Museum of Vancouver (MOV). This museum features various exhibits and programs that tell the stories of Vancouver, especially from the early 1900s to the 1970s. MOV recently celebrated its 120th year and they continue to let the locals and visitors get a glimpse of the city's history. In 2009, the contemporary museum changed its name from Centennial Museum to Museum of Vancouver. It now focuses more on the present-day issues of the city.

Visit Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden and witness an amazing collection of ancient miniature trees, one-of-a-kind taihu stones and a spectacular jade pond with colorful koi fish. This popular Vancouver attraction has received many recognition, including “Garden of the Year” by Canada's Garden Tourism Council and “World's Top City Garden” by National Geographic.

If you're looking for the ultimate water adventure, then head to Granville Island where you can find all sort of activities – from kayaking to jet skiing. FlyOver Canada

You can now experience flying coast to coast with their virtual flight technology. The family-friendly attraction is suited for all ages including toddlers and seniors. The flight ride lasts for 30 minutes and consists of three sections: Pre-Show UpLift, Pre-boarding zone, and FlyOver Canada feature ride. There are three levels of ride vehicles to choose from so you can find the best flight experience for you.

Roedde House Museum

Amidst Vancouver's iconic city of glass buildings lies a hidden gem. Visit the Roedde House Museum for a glimpse of life in the West End over 100 years ago. Designated a class 'A' heritage building, this restored Victorian home was built in 1893 and belonged to the city's first bookbinder. Each room has been faithfully restored to reflect the daily life of a middle class immigrant family at the turn of the twentieth century. The Queen Anne revival style is the fine work of famed architect Francis Rattenbury. They offer tours of the museum every afternoon Tuesday to Friday, and also every Sunday.

Vancouver Police Museum

Visit the oldest police museum in North America to learn more about the history of law enforcement and crime in Vancouver. The museum stands on the former site of the Coroner's Court as well as the crime laboratory, morgue and autopsy facilities of the city. You will find more than 20,000 artifacts, archival documents, and photos. You can join their self-guided tours, programs, and discussions on law-related topics. 


Vancouver Lookout

L'Abattoir
