All suppliers will accept credit cards that are American Express, MasterCard, or VISA.These are the most widely recognised credit cards and are accepted by most suppliers.
Can I use someone else's credit card?
No, you can not. A valid credit card presented with the renter's name is required to rent a vehicle. Keep note that the name, address and signature has to match the renter's drivers licence to be accepted.

In Canada, renters will be required to present a credit card in their name. Here is a guide to our suppliers' policies regarding credit cards.
Credit cards accepted: In Alamo's Canadian depots, American Express, MasterCard and Visa are accepted.
A credit card in the renter's name must be presented at the time of pick up. If a credit card was used to pay for the rental, the same card must be used at the time of pick up.
Credit cards accepted: Avis accepts most major credit cards including American Express, AT&T Capital, Diner's, JCB, Mastercard, Sears and Visa. The credit card must be in the name of the driver.
